Referring to Audrey G. Bennett’s article The African Roots of Swiss Design, this poster explores the connection between Swiss modernist design principles and African visual systems. The composition is built using a strict Fibonacci square grid, reflecting the proportional logic also found in Kente cloth discussed in the article. The design is limited to three colors to emphasize structure and pattern, while the use of Helvetica references the typographic tradition of Swiss design.
